Thinking From The End “Gratitude”

Follow Your Heart and Create Your Dreams
Follow Your Heart and Create Your Dreams

Many stay in a place of poverty because the missing part of their desires lacks gratitude.

Many people stay in poverty because they are so focused on their desires that they lack the element of gratitude and appreciation. The more we are grateful for what we have and for our desires as if they are already here the more good things we receive. Gratitude alone can keep you in the eye of abundance and prevent you from thinking that supply in limited in any way. This is an abundance world and if you can conceive it you can create and have it. Gratitude before you receive places complete faith in your knowing that you will have what you desire.

I’ve read many time that when Jesus spoke to his Father he started with “I thank you Father, for hearing my prayer for I know it is done”, Jesus had no doubt or thought of lack or worry in receiving what he was requesting. There is no wavering, second guessing or negative thoughts placed in his requested, he simply gives thanks first with his heart and allowed his Father to handle the rest expecting the end result to come as his Father saw fit to present the request. Sometimes, maybe I should say a lot of times, I get attached to the how things are going to happen and take place and nine times out of ten it’s brought forth in an entirely different way. I am not in control of the how my Supreme Being is going to deliver the goods and neither are you; it is your Higher Substance that will decide on the how and guide you so long as you are paying attention.

I know he (she) is up there saying to me “Okay Dawn, I have your request now let it go; now, just pay attention to the signs I place in front of you, listen to what comes your way, be open and present in the moment so you are able to recognize any guidance I set forth in your path. “ It’s such a constant thing I have to remind myself and its all part of the learning process of letting go knowing there is enough for everyone. I have notice that the more I let go of the how and release it to the universe the quicker and easier I manifest what I want.

I use to be grateful for everything in a kind-a; I’m grateful for this and that while not putting much thought into it but now it’s such a different part of my being. When I am in thoughts of gratitude these days it comes from the heart in a totally different way and with much feeling. My body feels the presents of warmth and joy with peace. This is more so recently and I’m starting to have a sense of calmness that is growing that I didn’t have before. All of this is a process of learning about me and who I AM and connecting to my Source. It takes time and it will continue to grow and evolve for me and it will do the same for you and everyone as we all move forward on our own path in this life, journeying from here to there.

How do you relate and express your gratitude on a daily bases?   Is it with sincerity or is it placed without thought of real appreciation and gratitude?

Trust MySelf!

Wednesday, July 1st, 2009
This question was presented to me in an email today.  Not expecting this one yet it was on my mind.  “Trust MySelf”

Three major components came up and here are my thoughts on the subject.

1. Listen to your inner guidance system:

Basically your asking yourself what am I feeling? The vibration that stirs up inside is my indicator to whether I’m doing the right thing or not. Except I have to pay attention. My intellect gets in the way and there goes the vibration and intuition opening up the door to guide me and I just shut the door and start thinking. Yep, have you been there done that and kick yourself later? I’ve missed out on a lot of great wonderful things in my life my not listening to my inner vibration, feeling what good and right for me.

 2. Taking Risks :

This is where the mind kicks in and say’s nope not going to do that. I’ve failed before can you imagine what they say this time. That’s passing out on life. Without risks we don’t grow evolve to what we could be. Stagnating is for turkeys and it’s time to Soar with the Eagles. Even if we fail we are building up our courage for failure is just a glitch in the road a small bump and once we are over the pump we excel.

Trust – Believe in yourself.            If Not You Than Who?

3. Forgive Yourself:

This one is the big one: A life long process. In order to trust yourself you have to be able to forgive yourself for anything and everything. Write it down, read it, add more to it, read it again, and keep doing this until it’s all out there. Once you’ve done this tear it up in tiny pieces and burn it up. It works.

Short story:   I wrote my junk down once and kind-a forgot about it, you know, just innocently placed it down and forgot about it. One day in conversation I said yeah I did that once and it’s laying – and I stopped right there in the middle of the sentence. It hit me I still had this with me – I’m still carrying it. I never completed the job. I guess my ego wanted it around awhile longer.

That night I read my story added a ton of stuff and so on. Finally it was 4 AM and my junk became shreds of paper and I went out onto the back deck and burned every piece down to ashes.

I didn’t feel anything drastically change in that moment but the next day I could tell I felt lighter and each day after that I felt better and better. It does work it you follow through.

My healing process continues today and forgiving ourselves of our past is the gateway to birthing a new life into our future. Creating a genuine sense of enthusiasm for both the present moment and each after that. We are not perfect and we shouldn’t demand it of ourselves.
