Inspiration

“When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bonds; your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a new, great and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be.”

Patanjali.

Edited to read:

When I am inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all my thoughts break their bonds; my mind transcends limitations, my consciousness expands in every direction, and I find myself in a new, great and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and I discover myself to be a greater person by far than I ever dreamed myself to be.

Intention: What is your Intention?

Friday, July 24th, 2009
I find that many times my intention is not always inline with who I am and what I want to attract. I find myself saying I want this I want that and then I’m putting out the intention of what I want and end up attracting what I don’t’ want. Oooopsssss! Ouch!

So what I’ve learned and still learning is that my wants can be wants forever. Just because I want something it doesn’t mean I’ll get it. Wishing and hoping is just that – wishing and hoping. In other words I can want a brand new Jag and lay around thinking about it and it’s just going to show up, NOT. What is my intention to desiring and acquiring that Ice Blue with white leather interior XK jag? Notice the difference from just wanting a Jag to the color and type of Jag I am getting. The more detailed and feelings I connect with my desired outcome, whatever it is, an item, more clients or anything, it’s in the details that are put into place that assist me in my intention to attracting what I require to attain my desired outcome.

If my intention is very clear on what I’m desiring in my life I will attract things into my life that will assist me in bringing my intentions into reality. What starts the ball rolling is that I am thinking from the end. When I have a specific, very specific, desire I start thinking about how it would FEEL to have the outcome as if it was in my possession now. By doing this I am automatically taking the steps necessary to achieve my goal. I will make decisions that have the end results in mind which keeps me moving towards my goal at all times. (I’ll talk more about this later in the next blog post.)

EX: Last night I went to a sweat lodge as an official apprentice as a fire tender. I was excited and passionate about fire tending that it was written on every calendar and all I could think about until the night arrived. I showed up early ready for my new experience and connected with the area and surroundings of the sweat lodge in silence. I already knew in my heart and mind how things were going to play out. I had a picture of how I would place the wood, the rocks and everything that went along with fire tending.

When my mentor arrived I was ready. First thing he says you will observe tonight and I was like _ “I did that last time – OK I understand I am here to learn and you are my teacher and I will observe” Jose looked at me turned closed his eyes and shortly said “OK, it is called to me that you participate in this ceremony” ((In my mind I’m like YES-YES!) but kept my coooool. ))

As things progressed in the early part of the preparation he turned and looked at me and said “This is your fire this is your lodge tonight you as the fire tender, you will work with the chief and I will assist and advise you along the way” WOW, how cool was that – My intention was there and I attracted what I desired without asking. (I did ask all month with my visual and heartfelt intention to attracting what I desired.) I followed Jose’s direction and he himself put me where I saw myself for the entire prior month as Fire Tender. My intention attracted my desired outcome.

Was everything perfect and did I remember everything from a prior lesson and from observing other fires before? NO! But I became a Fire Tender last night as I had seen myself so many times in the last month. I learned a lot and have a lot more to learn and totally ready to embrace it all.

This works in every aspect of your life in every intention you have. The questions is – Do you believe in your desired outcome and do you really FEEL it as in your possession today, already here and already yours? Following your heart is following your spirit and when you do that your intentions will attract more of what you want rather than what you don’t want.

What is your Intention? What will you attract?

What Makes You Come Alive?

Friday, July 17th, 2009
“Don’t ask yourself what the world needs; ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go do that. Because what the world needs are people who have come alive.”   Terry Grundy.

When I’m around people I love or doing something I love I come alive. I’m excited, enthusiastic and feeling free with this incredible ability to accomplish whatever I set myself up to do. And when in this state I become so attractive to everyone around me and what I’m looking to attract into my life shows up.

What Makes You Come Alive?

Every Moment!

Tuesday, July 14th, 2009
In every moment, I am broadcasting a very specific vibrational signal that is instantly being understood and answered… and immediately my present and future circumstances begin changing in response to the signal I am projecting. The entire Universe, right now, is being affected by what I am offering.

The entire Universe is my co creator in everything I think – do – say and the universe can be my best friend or worst enemy it just depends on what I am projecting in each moment.

What are you projecting?

Who I Hang With Makes A Huge Difference!

Friday, July 10th, 2009
Who I hang around influences everything including the choices I make in my life. I’ve always heard that if you look at who you hang with you will see your reflection and where you are in life in accordance of your vibration to the Law of Attraction. We all have a tendency to flock to people in our own comfort zone and blend right in because if we move up the scale to a different realm we are uncomfortable. And I think that we can all be in any arena if we so choose.

Key Question: “Who am I choosing to hang around?”.

Two weeks ago I met a couple at a “Law of Attraction” workshop and we hit it off right from the start. I was immediately invited to their four day Fourth of July party. This party included live music, natural healing, higher consciousness on twenty acres of beautiful property not far from the Smoky Mountains.

I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect so I went without any expectations and open to allow the weekend to unfold by itself. That is exactly how I enjoyed every experience. The positive energy was at such a high level that my spirit lifted and resonated so well being in connection with like minded individuals. People came from four surrounding states and I made many new wonderful friends. The experience was awesome and so uplifting and assisted me in so many ways that I feel so blessed and so grateful to have attracted this into my life.

Lately, I had been saying to myself, I’m looking to attract people who are more positive and like mind from the stand point of awareness, moving forward, life’s path and so on. I mentioned it a couple of time to a few people and my co-creator the universe was listening and so was I, because I went to the meeting (I almost didn’t) and you know the rest of the story.

Attracting what you want will always come to you so be careful for what you are asking for because the universe your co-creator is always listening. Life long process so enjoy every minute of the journey even when you don’t think you can.

Ponder This Tought

“Anything that bothers you is only a problem within.

Only YOU can experience it, and only YOU can correct it.”

Now read it again below with a few changes.

“Anything that bothers me is only a problem within.

Only I can experience it, and only I can correct it.”

I’ve notice that when I change many of the things that I read and replace them with me or I that I get a deeper meaning because I’m actually speaking to me and a different feeling comes from within.

Trust MySelf!

Wednesday, July 1st, 2009
This question was presented to me in an email today.  Not expecting this one yet it was on my mind.  “Trust MySelf”

Three major components came up and here are my thoughts on the subject.

1. Listen to your inner guidance system:

Basically your asking yourself what am I feeling? The vibration that stirs up inside is my indicator to whether I’m doing the right thing or not. Except I have to pay attention. My intellect gets in the way and there goes the vibration and intuition opening up the door to guide me and I just shut the door and start thinking. Yep, have you been there done that and kick yourself later? I’ve missed out on a lot of great wonderful things in my life my not listening to my inner vibration, feeling what good and right for me.

 2. Taking Risks :

This is where the mind kicks in and say’s nope not going to do that. I’ve failed before can you imagine what they say this time. That’s passing out on life. Without risks we don’t grow evolve to what we could be. Stagnating is for turkeys and it’s time to Soar with the Eagles. Even if we fail we are building up our courage for failure is just a glitch in the road a small bump and once we are over the pump we excel.

Trust – Believe in yourself.            If Not You Than Who?

3. Forgive Yourself:

This one is the big one: A life long process. In order to trust yourself you have to be able to forgive yourself for anything and everything. Write it down, read it, add more to it, read it again, and keep doing this until it’s all out there. Once you’ve done this tear it up in tiny pieces and burn it up. It works.

Short story:   I wrote my junk down once and kind-a forgot about it, you know, just innocently placed it down and forgot about it. One day in conversation I said yeah I did that once and it’s laying – and I stopped right there in the middle of the sentence. It hit me I still had this with me – I’m still carrying it. I never completed the job. I guess my ego wanted it around awhile longer.

That night I read my story added a ton of stuff and so on. Finally it was 4 AM and my junk became shreds of paper and I went out onto the back deck and burned every piece down to ashes.

I didn’t feel anything drastically change in that moment but the next day I could tell I felt lighter and each day after that I felt better and better. It does work it you follow through.

My healing process continues today and forgiving ourselves of our past is the gateway to birthing a new life into our future. Creating a genuine sense of enthusiasm for both the present moment and each after that. We are not perfect and we shouldn’t demand it of ourselves.

Sounds of Silence

Wednesday, July 1st, 2009
Every sound whispering through the stillness that hovers over the break of day embraces my soul as a blanket of love.

I use to sleep in all the time thinking I was taking care of myself and enjoying lazy mornings. Recently I’ve started waking up earlier each morning and enjoying life more. I begin my day by enjoying the morning air and experiencing the delightful chirping of the birds and awakening of all the critters that surround my home. It inspires me and refreshes my soul.

For me it’s a time of just being still or being aware and a time to reflect, to breathe and glide smoothly into another beautiful day.

I hope the day embraces you with love and abundance.  DM
